musings on free time

I need to find a hobby. Or rediscover one. Hmm, I like option number two. I've got so many things at my fingertips. Camera. Guitar. Paints. Pencils. Sewing machine. Birding books. I look back on my college years - yeesh that makes me sound old! - and think of all the fun things I did. All the things I was good at, or dreamed of being good at. Everything I dreamed I'd do with my kids, or for my kids. Yep. Definitely time to rediscover a hobby. Now where's that lens filter ...

Hej hej!

Ok, my first attempt at blogging begins now. I figured the title was fitting, considering it is now quarter after ten at night and my daughter hasn't slept a full night in months; translation: neither have mom and dad. The baby monitor is quietly hissing on the desk next to me, and my mind is wandering with no real purpose. If she's true to form, my daughter will wake any minute; but for now, I've got some time to myself. So I decided to start a blog. Circular thoughts. If it's only taking me three minutes to come full circle, I think it's time to call it a night.
